Synthetic 5503 is an oil-rejecting synthetic fluid specifically formulated for machining and grinding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The low pH allows the machining of materials such as aluminum, copper and brass without any staining. The Synthetic 5503 works well with most materials but excels in the machining of non ferrous materials. In addition, it contains environmentally responsible ingredients. This oil-rejecting fluid has a surfactant system, which affords less carryout of coolant, better cooling, and superior lubrication. Synthetic 5503 is a clean fluid capable of reducing overall production costs while satisfying the most critical machining operations.
